Who is the Ideal Doctor?

Health thought of the day: Did you know that no matter the diagnosis there are only four general ways a person can get sick? Chronic illness always affects a person in all four ways, yet most doctors only are addressing one of the ways.

Most doctors are trained to deal with only one way your body can experience dysfunction. If this is the case, and your doctor is only addressing one of the ways, then there is a high probability that you will only get so far in your quest for optimum health.

The four ways you can experience dysfunction are, 1) Structural problems, 2) Chemical problems, 3) Stress-related problems, and 4) Bio-energetic problems.

If a doctor is going to address all four ways they will need good ways to test in order to find the problems. The doctor will also need many ways to address the dysfunctions he finds.

Although our doctors cannot always undo what has been done to you, and are not miracle workers, it can be amazing what good results can happen when all four ways are being addressed all at the same time.

The real challenge and goal is to find ways to completely restore what is optimum in structure and function on all levels. This is made more difficult the more damaged and toxic the body already is from life choices, trauma, inherited issues, and the adverse effects previous years of drug treatments.

Our doctors are blessed trained and licensed to be able to address all four ways you can experience dysfunction, and in the State of Kansas our statutes read that we are licensed to manipulate or treat the any tissue in the human body by manual, mechanical, electrical, or any natural means, or by the use of physical means, physiotherapy (including light, heat, water or exercise), or by the use of foods, food concentrates, or food extract, and hygiene.

The ideal doctor is one who understands disease, but specializes in restoring what is optimal on all levels of human existence...from there dis-ease often falls away!

Transmitting Allergies Between People!

Health Thought for the Day: Much of our understanding of how chemical molecules, such as hormones and neurotransmitters, function is now being recognized as a matter of proximity (transmitting their influence and information via light and vibrations through the crystalline matrix of the body) rather than actual physical contact of the hormone in the classic “lock and key” explanation we have used for years.

In fact, research reported by James Oschman, PhD., in his book, Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis, states that even the frequencies emitted by a person having an allergic reaction can trigger a spontaneous allergic reaction in another allergy-prone person. It is all vibration!

We are radiating and transmitting, as well as receiving all kinds of electromagnetic energies into and from the world around us.

Everything in the universe is simply our perception of vibrations. Light, sound, tastes, the chair you are sitting in, the shirt you are wearing, the apple you ate today, the thought you think -- all are just vibrations. Another way of talking about vibrations is to generically call them frequencies.

Let’s carry this a little further so that you can really grasp what a very important role your body, mind, emotions, and spirit play in promoting health or sickness. If you have a glass of deadly poison, it is poisonous to you because its vibration or frequency is so disruptive to the frequencies of your body.

In the same way, your thoughts are also frequencies. Negative, fearful thinking creates absolutely poisonous frequencies! Thoughts of love and joy are to your body like Miracle Grow is to plants and produce nutritious, healing frequencies that resonate through the DNA.

If you want better health, surround yourself with better frequencies.

Just Say NO to Herx Symptoms!

Since the 1990's I have been one of the first doctors to take a stand against using severe Herxheimer reactions as guide and indication of "good" treatment.

When a doctor uses a natural or pharmaceutical antibiotic to kill some Lyme spirochetes in a person, there is often a resultant Jarisch- Herxheimer reaction (Herx) -- a worsening of the patient’s symptoms in response to the increased release of bacterial die-off toxins. The toxins are deposited into the bloodstream and are circulated throughout the body.

These toxins damage tissues in the body and are one of the primary reasons that symptoms can persist even after the actual crisis of Lyme and coinfections are gone; the toxin-damage can remain as an irritant in the tissues for years.

In truth, a severe Herxheimer reaction is a sign of poor elimination pathway drainage, poor organ and tissue support. All efforts should be made by your doctor to avoid these severe herx reactions!

The body of most chronic Lyme sufferers is a toxic dump to start with; if the doctor does not get the pathways of elimination open and working, the body gets even more toxic when the bacteria begin to die and their toxins release.

Even with the most skillful treatment program a person might experience worsening of symptoms, however it is barbaric for a doctor to feel their job is just to administer antibiotics and let the chips fall where they may in the way of horrible herx reactions.

I have heard from many people that their LLMD told them at the beginning of their treatment to, "Expect to feel horrible for the first 5 years or more of treatment, after which you might start feeling better!"

The person with chronic Lyme disease has already suffered enough and does not need to go through a Herx just to prove they have Lyme disease!

In my opinion, it is unnecessary and unethical for a doctor to want and expect their patients to feel worse for years as an indication of good treatment. All it requires of them is to get more training, so they can do more than simply push antibiotics.

Just say NO to herx's!

When you are looking for an "LLMD," your first question to the doctor should be, "How will you know the treatment is working?" If they say, "I will know because you will start feeling worse, due to a Herx reaction," I would suggest you find a new doctor.

Insist on a better, whole body treatment plan!

The ideal doctor is not a specialist in diseases, but one who understands disease, yet specializes in restoring what is optimum.

Lyme Literate Medical Doctors Shifting Their Perspective.

I was at a Lyme conference with about 60 medical doctors. It was interesting to hear most, if not all of them, agree that prescription antibiotics are not a good long-term solution.

They were all looking to discontinue using antibiotics altogether, and were moving to natural medicine to find a better treatment philosophy and better solutions for their patients
. Unfortunately health care, and especially regarding the treatment of people with Lyme disease, is not a precise science

Truthfully, there may be a time where antibiotics are appropriate, such as at the early stages. The struggle is to know when to use them, when to stop, and when to not use them at all.

For all of mainstream medicine's reams of literature, high-tech hospitals, lab tests, and research, when it comes to actual treatment, options in their tool box is quite limited to drugs like antibiotics, that were never intended to be taken long term.

For instance, there are only a dozen at most of generally recognized prescription antibiotics in the arsenal of medicine. So once your doctor has tried the primary four antibiotics, then it becomes rotations and switching to I.V. antibiotics to essentially beat the body into the submission of remission...remission is a temporary pause of symptoms, meaning the disease will come back within weeks to months after discontinuing the antibiotics.

The doctors at this conference were aware that antibiotics will only kill up to 85% of the target bacteria, leaving the remaining 15% mutated, antibiotic-resistant, and potentially more virulent.

I have heard so many people say, "I would be happy for any remission!" However, the point of these health tips is to help open your mind to other possibilities, to open to the idea of actual health restoration instead of bombing the bacteria into more drug-resistant, shape-shifting nightmares of the
microbial world.

The medical doctors at the conference were forced to look for better options, by their own words, because of the poor record they were getting with massive amounts of antibiotics. These doctors looked to the natural medicine treatment philosophy because of the great results some of their patients were reporting from going to doctors who do not use antibiotics.

Most doctors find a pharmaceutical or natural protocol they like and use it on everyone. Some get well and some don't. Even at the Hansa Center...some get well and some don't, however almost all make improvements that none of their previous doctor's treatments could achieve.
Antibiotic-induced remission almost always occurs after a long, horrible, herx-ridden battle, then months to years later the illness returns with a vengeance. The medical doctors at this conference said they could no longer subject their patients to that torture when people were often getting quicker and better results in the long-term using the healing philosophies of natural medicine.

No one thinks they will go through the horror of chemo-therapy for cancer and come out the other side a healthier person. No one can go through years of only antibiotic treatment and come out the other side healthier.

With proper guidance of a health care professional trained in natural medicine philosophy can often help you restore optimum so that you can come out the other side healthier than when you started.

Functional Heart Problems Caused by Underlying Lyme Disease!

A very common symptom of chronic Lyme disease is many and various heart problems, such as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).

It is fairly common for POTS patients to have a noticeable drop in blood pressure upon standing, but some POTS patients have no change or even an increase in blood pressure upon standing.

POTS patients often have hypovolemia (low blood volume) and high levels of plasma norepinephrine (from the adrenal glands) while standing, reflecting Autonomic Nervous System disregulation (dysautonomia) causing increased sympathetic nervous system activation.

Many POTS patients also experience fatigue, headaches, lightheadedness, heart palpitations, exercise intolerance, nausea, diminished concentration, tremulousness (shaking), syncope (fainting), coldness or pain in the extremeties, chest pain and shortness of breath.

The many heart and circulatory problems seen in POTS can be caused by Lyme Endocarditis as a result of metabolic toxins produced by the spirochetes (bacteria) of Lyme. The primary toxin identified through clinical research is the accumulation of ammonia (NH3) in the heart, brain, and other infected tissues.

While eliminating the toxins and the bacteria can create a favorable environment for the body to be restored, the POTS symptoms often remain.

In the following link I will be introducing and discussing the profound new innovation called NeuroCardial Synchronization™, that was developed at the Hansa Center to specifically address the heart and brain disturbances of POTS. This new therapy has resulted in complete resolution in all participants to date.

This hour long show can be heard on Federal News Radio at http://www.federalnewsradio.com/?nid=5. The show will be also be archived at the following link for later listening: http://ehlradio.com/ArchivedShows/Index.php

Keep reading to learn how modern phonocardiograms have changed what is possible in diagnosing and treatment functional heart problems.

Although it is difficult to read this picture, the blue box at the top left shows what a normal phonocardiogram should look like. Each of the other boxes show some of the problems that can be found in a dysfunctional heart.

Phonocardiography, is the use of a high-definition, digital, electronic stethoscope, linked to a computer program in order to record the sounds of the heart. From these recordings we can identify problems in heart that are often undetectable using ECG's and other conventional heart tests.

Phonocardiology, when used in tandem with the powerful testing ability of BioResonance Scanning™ is a system of treatment now called NeuroCardial Synchronization™(NCS). Since NCS is such a new innovation, a Google search will likely not get any hits on the topic. At this time NCS is only available at the Hansa Center for Optimum Health, in Wichita, Kansas.

Phonocardiology has the potential to identify problems in the heart arising from toxins, infections, hypoxia from poor hemoglobin synthesis, emotional and mental stress, structural, biochemical, and neurological problems.

Correcting the problems identified on Phonocardiogram requires the doctor to determine what is interfering with the optimum structure and function of the problem area. This may be a musculoskeletal interference, a neuromuscular interference, an neuropsychological interference, a nutritional deficiency, a metabolic toxicity, allergy, just to name a few, but in all cases the treatments are using natural means to work to restore the optimum function and structure of what has gone wrong. No pharmaceuticals or invasive treatments are ever used by our doctors.

It appears that virtually every chronic illness has different heart problems associated with the illness. This shouldn't be a surprise when one considers that the heart plays such a huge role in regulating all of the DNA of the body, and is indeed secreting hormones that influence every tissue and organ in the body.

People treated with have often stated that they experience not just a disappearance of their heart rhythm problems, but a greater sense of well-being on every level. As sense of well-being, peace, is the normal state of the heart that is functioning optimally.

At this time, our doctors are only working with people who are chronically ill, but who do not take pharmaceuticals for their heart. If you, like so many other people, abhor the idea of taking a pharmaceutical
for the rest of your life to deal with a heart issue, NeuroCardial Synchronization may offer a better solution.

If you have any heart problems, such as cardiac arrhythmia, dysautonomia, chronic fatigue syndrome, cognitive disturbances, or other chronic illnesses this may offer you a way out of the nightmare. Clinical outcomes have been very encouraging. Without the use of pharmaceutical drugs we have been able to correct almost every case of arrhythmia, valve regurgitation, and tachycardia, when there is no irreparable damage to the heart.

The technology used in this treatment is so new that we have not trained any doctors outside of the Hansa Center yet. NeuroCardial Synchronization™ is a technique that we have pioneered here at the Hansa Center. The really nice thing is that the repeat phonocardiology testing verifies the effect of the treatments within each office visit, so there is no "over glamorizing" of this process. It either works and you can see the change on your phonocardiogram during that same visit, or it doesn't which you can also immediately see. Thankfully we are almost always seeing impressive improvements.

Lyme Disease; Like Having Termites in Your House!

May is Lyme Disease Awareness month! Having Lyme disease is much like having termites in the walls of your house. You can kill the termites (Lyme bacteria), with toxic chemicals (antibiotics), but it does nothing to repair the damage already done to the wood of your house (body), and now your house (body) will make you sicker from the poisons used to kill the termites.

Any stiff wind can further damage your now weakened house. Any new challenge to your dis-eased body will create symptoms.

Simply killing the bacteria, and even detoxing, while good, does nothing to repair the damage they and any aggressive treatments caused in your body.

People come to the Hansa Center from all over the world. They are damaged often in ways that can seem to be beyond repair from the illness, and the previous aggressive treatments.

At the Hansa Center, we do not specialize in the treatment of diseases, such as Lyme disease. We are never saying thus saith me you have Lyme bacteria and we are going to give you such and such remedy and kill the bugs for your body. We specialize in facilitating the restoration of what can be restored.

Our treatment philosophy goes way beyond simply "establishing balance" or "achieving homeostasis." When a person is chronically ill it is too late for homeostasis and balance...certain issues need to cranked up and specifically targeted.

We definitely do not represent here on Facebook, or anywhere else, that we can get everyone well, nor keep everyone well. We are not God, nor do we desire to play God. What we represent is what we believe is the most ideal way to facilitate the body's ability to heal and stay well, regardless of the diagnosis.

People will sometimes come to the Hansa Center for our initial two-week all-inclusive treatment package, having heard of remarkable, near-miraculous things that happen to many people, and are greatly disappointed when they leave not necessarily feeling better, or in the rare case...feeling worse. The people will then get on social media and slam the clinic and our philosophy, even though none of their previous doctors had been able to budge their case either. Nobody with Lyme disease, gets angry when their LLMD hasn't healed them with antibiotics in two years, much less two weeks!

I am not complaining here. I am striving to help everyone understand that it is not rational to base an opinion of a treatment program based on two weeks of treatment. It is not rational to think that years of illness can be reversed without ongoing care....and periodic visits to change up the treatments to keep up with the many changes that are taking place in response to the treatments.

Even a simple blister will take 4-6 weeks to completely heal to the point where you cannot see where it was...that is if you don't pick at it, get it infected, or aggravate it by doing the same activity that caused it in the first place, in which case it will take even longer to heal.

All of this to say, set realistic short term and long term goals to pace yourself in the journey toward better health.

You might be one who is blessed to see many symptoms dramatically fall away for good in the first two weeks, and yet there are some other symptoms that linger and are more stubborn. You might be one whose healing is more sluggish, but the conviction and hope that you will be well, as well as understanding that it may take a lot of time and effort will get you through.

My own wife was told by her LLMD before we met to "expect to feel horrible for at least five years, after which you might start feeling better!" I have heard variations of this from many thousands of people who have come to the Hansa Center.

Our doctors are seriously bummed out if our patients are not better in some way after every day of treatment! We don't get it every time, however we get it enough that we have learned to expect it.

What would you rather have, a doctor who sets the bar of expectation so low that he/she never really needs to perform, or one who sets the standard of expectation high and if he doesn't get it, just works that much harder to figure out your case?

We cannot make any guarantee except that we will do all we can to undo the damage and relieve the suffering to the best of our ability.

There is no arrogance in Biological Medicine, just the humbleness of knowing how limited all of us in health care are in the total scheme of things.

100% of our patients have exhausted all medical treatments. Almost 100% are chronically ill and no other doctor has been able to budge their case. Almost 100% of our patients have experienced the full gamut of huge amounts of antibiotics and show the damage, possibly permanent damage as a result. This damage may predispose them to recurrent infections and systemic problems to say the least.

Doing nothing is not a good option. Doing the same things that are not working is not a good option. Doing something different that just might make a profound difference without destroying any other part of your body in the process and giving that process a good chance to see if it will work, is always a good idea.

For over 20 years the Hansa Center for Optimum Health, in Wichita, Kansas has specialized in the restoration of health for people with previously unresponsive and chronic illnesses of virtually all types. A Doctor's Journey From Illness to Health

My Story by Dr. David Jernigan

Through the years, thousands of people have come to my clinic, thousands more have read my books, and yet very few ever knew the health adversities I have personally experienced in my life. So few knew of these challenges I have faced because, after years of working on restoring my own body, mind, and spirit, I am blessed to enjoy virtually perfect health almost all the time now. The health problems I have weathered have been like signposts guiding me towards not only greater health, but also to greater maturity on all levels. As you read my story, I want you to know why I am so passionate to help all who come to the Hansa Center. It is because I have definitely “Been there, done that!” and have recovered near perfect health time after time…and so can you!

I grew up mostly healthy and doing hard work. In my late teens I cleared land, cutting trees for a housing development, and sometimes putting medium-sized trees under my arm and dragging them to a pile. Older men would shake their heads and say, “You really shouldn’t do that to your back.” But what did I care? At 6’7” tall, it felt good to be strong. Within a year, my back began to have periods of paralyzing pain.

I didn’t know “what I wanted to be when I grew up,” so I just did what sounded like fun until it wasn’t fun anymore. All of my fun involved very strenuous jobs. I worked on seven different riverboats on the Mississippi River, and I worked on oil rigs as a roustabout in the Gulf of Mexico for over a year; that is when my back really first gave me a wake-up call. I was flown by helicopter to a hospital, unable to stand or walk. It was to be the first of three times in my life where I didn’t know whether I would ever walk again. The last time, while in the U.S. Air Force, the doctors thought I had broken a bone in my back.

I smoked cigarettes throughout those 11 years “just socially.” I would not smoke in my house or car, and never when I was dating someone. I sometimes went weeks without a cigarette, so I never thought I was addicted…until I really tried to quit! In the midst of severe life stress, I began to develop difficult respiratory infections that ultimately led to two bouts of severe pneumonia, and doctors literally saved me at the brink of death.

I spent thirty days in a military hospital after a grueling surgery to remove benign tumors along my spine. This was followed by thirty days of drugs (morphine) to quell the post-surgical pain. It was 90 days after being released from the hospital before I could work out, which was made more difficult by the 45 pounds I gained in the previous three months of immobilization.

In the late 1990’s, Lyme Disease entered my life with chronic fatigue, brain fog, cognitive dysfunctions, joint pain, muscle pains and twitching, and the most disturbing symptoms – heart arrhythmias and palpitations. Fresh in my mind is the memory of lying in bed at night and feeling my heart seem to make huge rolling movements inside my chest. It would beat hard and erratic and then stop completely! I would reach up and feel the carotid artery in my neck and see if it really wasn’t beating—it wasn’t--and then it would race and flip around again. At one point, after facing many nights of wondering if this night I would die, I decided dying was not the worst thing that could happen. Not that I wanted to die, but after facing the possibility night after night, it just didn’t hold the fear it once did.

Other family members tested positive for having Lyme spirochetes as well, and one was so sick that he could barely get out of bed for months because of the severe pain and neuropathies. Later on, my oldest daughter’s legs became paralyzed from West Nile virus in her spine, thankfully to be ultimately miraculously healed!

I was thrown from my horse, breaking the same ribs that I had broken a few years before, while trekking through the jungle 1850 miles south of the Mexican border. From the horse incident I also fractured my pelvis, wrist, and suffered from whiplash. Six months of periodic literal screaming agony passed before natural medicine treatments completely restored me to no pain or even any symptom at all.

Do I understand some of what you are going through?

Yes!

Do I know you can gain greater health than you had before?

Yes, I am living proof of the power of American Biological Medicine!

My life is dedicated to helping you achieve the same or better! Come let us help you today.

Are You in the Wrong Organ Time Zone?"

Are you in the wrong organ "time zone?" In yesterday's Health tip I discussed the fact that if all of the body's energy had to go to all the organ circuits all the time, there would not be enough energy to go around. Each organ circuit has its time of highest energy being dedicated to it. (Read yesterday's tip to see what organs are most active at different times of day)

Yesterday we discussed how you can often determine why a symptom may only appear at a certain time of day, because of the organ that goes active at that time. Now we are discussing how that often there is a body clock "time zone" problem that is the issue.

Organ Time Zone (OTZ) problems occur when and organ that should only be active during the daytime to be getting its time of highest energy at the wrong time. This type of organ time zone problem is medically referred to as desynchronosis, which is a physiological condition which results from alterations to the body's circadian rhythms. Anyone who has traveled overseas has experienced desynchronosis in the form of jet-lag.

A common example of OTZ problems is seen when the bladder circuit, which should have its time of highest energy between 3-5 p.m., instead turns on in the middle of the night, due to the body's time zones being off by three or four time zones.

This type problem can only be addressed by a doctor trained to correct the body's energetic clock and organ time zones, due to the fact that in order to correct the problems special frequency-based tests must first identify the where the problems are coming from and then what to do about it.

Of course, not ever case of excessive urination at night will be due to OTZ issues. Not every case of insomnia, coughing, pain, neuropathy, and such, can be blamed on OTZ problems, however organ desynchronosis is something that the doctors at the Hansa Center are always checking and correcting as part of facilitating your body's ability to get back to the life and health you seek.

It is unlikely that your conventional medical doctor will be trained to identify and address these issues, so seek out a more natural-inclined, health professional that is trained to correct OTZ issues.

For almost 20 years we have exclusively dealt with people with non-responsive, chronic conditions. If you live outside (or inside) of the State of Kansas and are considering coming to the Hansa Center...you are not alone...over 90% of our patients come from other states and countries.
